ExoKeeper collects only the minimum data needed to operate the site: standard analytics (page views, general geographic region, device type) to understand which content is most useful, and any information you voluntarily provide via the contact form, newsletter signup, or a Custom Care Plan order (name, email address, and the animal/enclosure details you submit with an order).

The interactive tools (enclosure size, habitat, diet, food safety, cohabitation, and quarantine) run entirely in your browser — the species and food selections you make in a tool are not sent to or stored on our servers. Nothing about how you use a calculator is logged individually.

We do not sell personal data. Third-party service providers used to operate this site — hosting (Vercel), email delivery and the newsletter list (Brevo), and payment processing for the Custom Care Plan and donations (Stripe) — only receive the data necessary to perform their specific function, under their own respective privacy policies.

Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time via the link included in every email. If you place a Custom Care Plan order, the details you submit (species, enclosure setup, diet, and any specific situation notes) are used solely to write your plan and are not repurposed for any other content on the site.

You can request a copy or deletion of any data you've provided by emailing contact@keepersguide.com. We'll confirm the request and action it promptly.

Cookies used on this site are limited to what's required for analytics and, where enabled, advertising (Google AdSense) — no cookie is used to identify you individually beyond what's necessary for those standard, disclosed third-party services. This policy may be updated as the site's tooling changes; material changes will be reflected directly here, on this same page, rather than announced separately elsewhere.
